No ball layup jumps

This is to practice footwork and hand extension for weak-hand layups. Imagine ball is in both hands at hip height, take a step with strong-side foot and jump off the ground. At the same time as jumping, bend the knee of the other leg (weak side) to bring the knee up and bring both arms up in front of the weak-side shoulder. At the apex of the jump, the weak-side leg is near 90 degree angle and weak-side hand extends beyond the other hand higher in the air. If your weak hand is your left hand, jump off the right foot and bring up the left knee and left hand. Repeat this jumping ten times to practice jumping off right foot and jumping for height with left hand. As alternates:
1) skip up court jumping high off of right foot every other hop.
2) skip up court, jumping off alternating feet every other jump.
